DO I Have to be a buddhist or become one to attend your classes?
No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. You can find a more details answer HERE.
Do I need to have any experience?
No. Everyone is welcome, including beginners. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.
Do we Sit on the floor or do any exercises?
No, we sit on chairs during the class and there are no physical exercises. On occasions at KMC Plymouth (not our branch classes), it may be possible for those who wish to sit in the traditional posture on the floor to do so, but depending on numbers attending the class we cannot guarantee this.
Do I need to wear anything in particular?
No special clothing is required, come as you are.
Should I bring anything with me?
No, just yourself! Some people find a note book and pen useful to make a note of anything they find helpful during the teaching part of the class.
DO i need to book or in advance or can I just turn up?
You can save up to 40% by booking in advance by buying a Course Ticket, so you may wish to choose that option. However, you can simply turn up and purchase a drop-in ticket if you prefer.
Can I start a class anytime or do i need to wait for the next course to start?
You can start coming to classes at anytime. If you've missed the start of a course, its not a problem as the classes are self-contained with a common theme and you'll still gain benefit.
